So how are you guys feeling about Michael J. Bassett’s SILENT HILL: REVELATION? It seems most people out there are willing to give this one a shot. You can count this schmuck as one of them. Especially after hearing what Bassett had to say in the flick’s latest promo video!
You see Konami put together a new promo video for not only SILENT HILL: REVELATION, but their upcoming games SILENT HILL COLLECTION and SILENT HILL: DOWNPOUR. Right now we’re only going to concentrate on REVELATION. The video includes snippets of interviews with both director Michael J. Bassett and star Adelaide Clemens. What we’re pin-pointing here is how Bassett states he aimed to make REVELATION ‘more frightening’ than the first film. Here’s hoping he hits his mark!
For years, Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
Along with Clemens the film also stars Radha Mitchell (below), Sean Bean, Carrie-Anne Moss, Deborah Kara Unger, Malcolm McDowell and Kit Harington. Now I’ve gone ahead and tossed the promo video up below and over in our videos section so you can check that out if you’re feeling froggy.
SILENT HILL: REVELATION is yet to score itself a valid release date but we do know it’ll drop sometime in 2012. Oh and it’ll be in 3D, in case you were wondering.
