So today we received a charming little press release from writer and star Polly Cole, informing us about her new indie thriller AMBER LAKE. Upon follow up, it seems the film may interest many a AITH reader. Suggestion? Strip down and take a dip in the LAKE below!

Directed by feature first timer Joe Robert Cole, AMBER LAKE involves:

Three half-sisters, who, after being invited to their father’s lake house to meet him and each other for the first time, are each questioned by a local sheriff to explain the events that took place leading up to the discovery of their father floating dead in the lake. Using a RASHOMON effect, each sister gives a slightly different account of the events, with each version pointing a finger at a different sister, while the sheriff must sort through the details to find out what really happened. What he discovers in the end is not what he expected.

Nice, I always dig that RASHOMON style of multiple perceptions. I’m also a sucker for pretty girls entrenched in a grisly murder mystery…so I’m definitely visiting AMBER LAKE when she’s open for business.
