Casting continues on Paul W.S. Anderson’s RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION, which is currently in pre-production in Toronto, Canada. According to Deadline.com, a few more names have boarded the fifth installment in the shockingly durable franchise.

Kevin Durand – best known for his turns in “Lost”, WOLVERINE and I AM NUMBER FOUR – has joined the production, as has Estonian actor Johann Urb (2012).

The biggest surprise is the inclusion of Oded Fehr. (SPOILER ALERT!) Fehr’s character “Carlos” died in RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, so it seemed like a good bet that we weren’t going to encounter the character again. Then again, both Colin Salmon’s “One” and Michelle Rodriguez’s “Rain” are down for RETRIBUTION, and we all know that they were dead at one time as well.

In case you doubt the news, Milla Jovovich herself tweeted the following last Friday: BTW!Sienna Guillory,Oded Fehr & Michelle Rodriguez are coming in THIS WEEKEND to start work on Monday! It’s all happening!

What’s going on in the world of RESIDENT EVIL..?
