Any of you guys out there familiar with the Gabriella Pierce novels 666 PARK AVENUE? I ask because according to The Hollywood Reporter ABC have gone and snatched the books up with hopes of turning them into an hour-long drama series and I can’t decide how dark they might be.

With a title like “666 Park Avenue” you’d expect something sinister is going on, right? Right. Well that does indeed seem to be the case considering the rundown for this one. Check it:

Like the books, the drama centers on an innocent couple from the midwest that moves to New York and gets hired to be resident managers of a building on the Upper East Side. There, unbeknownst to the couple, the residents have all unwittingly made deals with the Devil to have their deepest needs, ambitions and desires fulfilled.

Oh that pesky Devil. So as you can see this series looks like it’ll fit right in around these parts. Alloy Entertainment, the same people behind the show “Pretty Little Liars,” are on board to produce this one along with Warner Brothers TV. David Wilcox will be writing and executive producing.

That’s about all we’ve got on this one so I’m hoping some of you guys out there are familiar with 666 PARK AVENUE and can fill us in on what to expect with some bullets below. As always you can bet as soon as we hear more on this potential project we’ll pass the good word right along to all of you.
