Well folks the sixth season of Showtime’s hit drama series “Dexter” is quickly approaching and it seems the series is doing a little last minute shopping in regards to it’s cast.
According to the folks over at TV Line the show has just scored itself yet another talented actress in the form of “My Boys” star Jordana Spiro. Spiro has signed on for multiple episodes in season six as an acolyte of Colin Hanks’ Travis and Edward James Olmos’ Professor Gellar. Apparently she’ll be appearing late in the season.
Dexter Morgan spent Season Five atoning for the death of his wife, Rita. He committed to being a part of her children’s lives and entered into a deep, passionate relationship with Lumen, unlike anything he’d ever had before.
But Dexter’s need to kill overpowers his desire for human connection. And now that one person knows the truth about him, and a few others are close, how much longer will America’s favorite serial killer be able to keep his dark side a secret?
Along with Spiro, Hanks and James Olmos other new cast members include Mos Def, Josh Cooke, Molly Parker, Aimee Garcia, Billy Brown and Brea Grant. “Dexter” Season 6 kicks off on October 2nd, only on Showtime!
