So how are you guys feeling about Park Chan-wook’s STOKER? You’re… stoked for it, right? See what I did there?! Pretty funny right?! … Or not…
Anyway today we’ve got another update on Park Chan-wook’s highly anticipated English language debut. Now it’s nothing worth writing home about but according to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting it seems STOKER has scored another cast member in the form of Phyllis Somerville.
It seems Somerville (right) will be playing ‘Mrs. Garrick’, Stoker’s housekeeper.
STOKER centers on an eccentric teen named India Stoker who, while mourning the death of her father, suddenly must deal with an uncle who mysteriously appears…and the strange things that then happen.
Mia Wasikowska will star in the film as the titular role of ‘Stoker’ while Somerville, Nicole Kidman (below), Matthew Goode, Jackie Weaver, Dermot Mulroney, Lucas Till and Alden Ehrenreich round out the rest of the cast.
Set to hit theaters sometime next year, STOKER should be filming soon so be sure to check back for more updates.
