How do you guys feel about the whole ‘home invasion’ sub-genre we’ve got going on here? Personally I find myself really enjoying most of the ‘home invasion’ flicks that have come our way in the past couple years but I just can’t get stoked for Joel Schumacher’s latest romp TRESPASS.
Don’t get me wrong… I’m a big Nic Cage fan. Hell I love the dude in some of his most cheesy roles… but I’m just not feeling him in this one, ya know? And as far as Nicole Kidman goes.. well let’s just say I’ve never been a big fan. But alas when a brand new trailer for this little diddy comes scrolling across our pages you can bet your bottom dollar I’m going to rush right over to tell you all about it!
The trailer, which can be found directly below or over in our videos section, is the first we’re seeing for TRESPASS and it really doesn’t offer up anything new. TRESPASS sees Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman playing a husband and wife taken hostage by four brutal perpetrators seeking a big score. Complications ensue amid the unexpected discovery of betrayal and deception.
Along with Cage and Kidman (below) TRESPASS also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Cam Gigandet and Liana Liberato. The flick is set to hit both theaters and video-on-demand come October 14th.
