As you’re well aware by now, Tom Six and his film THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE II caused a minor uproar overseas when the British Board of Film Classification decided to ban it in the U.K., warning that it may fall under the Obscene Publications Act. Indeed, based on the descriptions of what transpires in the film, it’s easy to imagine that it’s not exactly an appetizing experience. But that may be nothing compared to what Six has up his sleeve for part 3!

Speaking at Empire’s Big Screen Event, Six revealed that HUMAN CENTIPEDE III is going to “make the last one look like a Disney film”. Furthermore, it’s going to be set in the U.S. and he reckons it will be his favorite of the lot. He also warned, “It’s going to upset a lot of people.”

And while the Brits won’t be seeing HUMAN CENTIPEDE II anytime soon, it appears as though THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE II will get a limited theatrical release here in the States. OCTOBER 7th is the date on the calendar. In fact, it will be playing at select Landmark Theaters beginning on that date (check their site HERE to see if your city will be among the lucky ones).
