Toward the end of June, we ran an extended synopsis for the Oren Peli produced ghost-town thriller, which was, and still is, untitled. Before we revisit said synopsis, it’s time to tell you who Peli hired to adapt his script.

According to Variety, Peli (above) has pegged commercials director Brad Parker to helm the untitled FilmNation thriller. Peli will produce along with Brian Witten.

Originally an animator, Brad Parker has subsequently worked visual on FX for such flicks as FIGHT CLUB, XXX, WE OWN THE NIGHT and more. He was recently tapped to be VFX supervisor for the genre TV series “Locke & Key.” He’s directed commercials for Nike, Sony, EA…and most recently served as second unit director on Matt Reeves’ LET ME IN. The dude’s clearly been working his way up.

As for the untitled ghost-town thriller, it follows a group of friends that become stranded in an eerie and desolate city. Years before in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster, nature has begun to reclaim everything. As the sun sets on this radioactive ghost town, inhuman cries cut through the night air. It seems they are not alone.

No further info on the flick is known at this point, but you can bet your chapped ass we’ll be keeping you abreast every step of the way.

Speaking of breasts…

WE OWN THE NIGHT star Eva Mendes
