Dark Castle (the folks behind this years UNKNOWN) has just picked up a new project titled NON-STOP, from writers Chris Roach and John Richardson. Plot details are being kept quiet, however a basic description has been released: a contained, gritty action thriller centering on an air Marshall flying on a domestic flight.
Jeff Wadlow is on board to direct, he is best known for CRY_WOLF and NEVER BACK DOWN. He actually discovered the first time writers, and developed the script with them. I do like the sound of the film; an airplane is always a good setting for some serious action to go down (CON AIR, FLIGHT PLAN are some examples).
It seems like a good fit for Dark Castle, which is a division of Silver Pictures. Their first film was the HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL remake; other titles under their belt include GHOST SHIP, GOTHIKA, THE HILLS RUN RED, ORPHAN, SPLICE and THE LOSERS.
