Sam Peckinpah’s original 1971 thriller Straw Dogs gearing up to hit Blu-Ray

I don’t know about you guys, but I love Blu-Ray. It just seems to make everything better! And I’m sure most of you feel the same exact way. So when news crosses our pages about a classic film finally dropping onto Blu-Ray… it strikes your fancy, right? Right.

So allow me to bring the news to you today, courtesy of High Def Digest, that Sam Peckinpah’s classic 1971 thriller STRAW DOGS is clawing it’s way to Blu-Ray! I know, I know… you’re excited. But calm yourself for just a second.

Unfortunately it hasn’t been decided yet what special features are going to accompany this long-awaited release but we do know the STRAW DOGS Blu-Ray will be hitting shelves on September 6th in 1080p video with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack. Comence excitement! As soon as we hear what special features will be dropping with this bad larry we’ll be sure to update you guys.
