Earlier this month I hit you all with the news that Halo-8 would be announcing the star of their upcoming HACK/SLASH illustrated film at Comic-Con and they didn’t disappoint! She’s been in several genre flicks already and now she’ll be everyone’s favorite sexy slasher killer.

Who is the lucky lady? Well if the title of this article didn’t give it away it’s none other than Brea Grant! Not only will Grant (below) be appearing in the upcoming season of “Dexter” but she actually got her start in Hollywood with the horror/comedy YOU’RE SO DEAD back in 2007. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg for Grant’s genre work.

And now she’ll be the voice of ‘Cassie Hack,’ the comic hottie who tracks down serial killers and monsters. Sure this would be a lot more exciting if they were casting an actual live-action HACK/SLASH flick, but I suppose an illustrated flick is the next best thing.

Now below I’ve actually tossed up a shot of Grant as none-other-than ‘Cassie Hack’ from a previous Halloween. Fits pretty well in my eyes! What says you guy? Grant a good choice for ‘Cassie’? Spit some bullets below and keep it here for more on this HACK/SLASH film as we hear it!
