Well folks he’s at it again. Thankfully this time though Mr. Roland Emmerich is only producing the disaster rather than creating it. What am I getting at? Check it.

Roland Emmerich, blockbuster director most known for his disaster flicks, is apparently producing a new ‘end of the world’ flick called HELL. The post-apocalyptic romp comes from director Tim Fehlbaum and is coming all the way from Germany. Want the rundown? Of course you do!

It was once the source of life, light and warmth. But now the sun has turned the entire world into a baked and barren wasteland. Forests are scorched. Animal carcasses line the roads. Even the nights are dazzlingly bright.

Maria, her little sister Leonie and Phillip are heading for the mountains in a car with tinted glass. Rumor has it water can still be found there. It is a hazardous trip to nowhere. Along the way, they run into Tom. He turns out to be a first-rate mechanic and becomes indispensable. But can they trust him? The tension grows. As if things weren’t bad enough, they are lured into an ambush and their real battle for survival begins…

So there you have it. Sounds pretty intense right? And it’s definitely a smaller scale then what we’re used to with Emmerich’s work. So perhaps there’s hope for HELL? Hah…

Anyway along with the news that Emmerich is attached to the project we’ve also got a bunch of goods for you guys! Above and below you’ll find a still from the flick, a poster and a pretty intriguing clip. So what’re you waiting for? Get scrolling and enjoy!

HELL is set to hit theaters in Germany this September with a cast that includes Stipe Erceg, Hannah Herzsprung, Angela Winkler, Lars Eidinger and Lisa Vicari. Hopefully we’ll get word soon on when this little diddy might be hitting the US. As always as soon as that news, or any other HELL goods, comes our way we’ll be sure to pass it along to all of you!
