Ving Rhames, Taryn Manning and more prepare for a Zombie Apocalypse

The great guys and gals over at our favorite production house, The Asylum, are readying their take on an undead uprising with ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE (also known as THE LAST STAND), which is currently filming in L.A. Ving Rhames (who has some experience with zombies), Taryn Manning, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Gary Weeks, Johnny Pacer and Eddie Steeples star in the flick. Nick Lyon (SPECIES: THE AWAKENING) is directing.

Unfortunately there isn’t a whole lot known about the plot, other than this brief synopsis I was able to dig up: Months after a zombie plague has wiped out 90 percent of the American population, a small group of survivors fight their way cross-country to a rumored refuge on the island of Catalina.
