I can picture the tagline now: Fly the DEADLY skies!”

Okay, that might not be so hot, but apparently the pitch for FLIGHT 75 is, because CBS Films has bought Takashi Shimizu’s (THE GRUDGE) treatment for the film, and signed him to direct it.

Details are slim, but we do know that FLIGHT 75 is a claustrophobic thriller set on a transpacific airliner where the passengers encounter what appears to be a supernatural force.

Shimizu will produce with Roy Lee (who produced THE GRUDGE and THE RING remakes) and Steven Schneider, who recently helped bring us INSIDIOUS. No writer has been attached as of yet.
