WARNING: The following contains what can be considered minor “True Blood” season 4 spoilers…

“True Blood” season 4 kicks off this Sunday on HBO, but series creator Alan Ball is already thinking ahead. According to TVLine’s Michael Ausiello, in the last episode of the season, Ball will set into motion a storyline that will reach into the fifth season – even though there isn’t officially a fifth season in place. However, since the show is a reliable performer for the network, it’s a pretty good bet that it will return next summer.

Scott Foley, familiar to fans of “Felicity”, SCREAM 3 and people who follow Jennifer Garner’s love life, will apparently enter the series in said final episode of this season. According to TVLine, Foley will play Patrick, a tough and ruggedly attractive old army buddy of Terry’s (Todd Lowe) who pays him a visit.

As I don’t watch the show, I don’t really know what any of that means. I just wonder if it affects the silly Fairyland that I still can’t believe exists in the “True Blood” universe.
