Could it be? Could the great Steven Spielberg be mulling over the idea of JURASSIC PARK 4?! Sure this shite has been kicking for a while with Joe Johnston interested… but Spielberg?? I don’t think I need to point out my excitement to you guys.

If The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog is to be believed, then yes. Yes! Steven Spielberg has been meeting with scribe Mark Protosevich to toss around ideas for a potential fourth film in the franchise. The two have already met twice to try and piece together a story for JURASSIC PARK 4.

Mind you Universal and Spielberg’s people are strongly reminding us that no script is in the works or anything of that nature… But things are looking good! Imagine a JURASSIC PARK flick with the technology of something like AVATAR? … Wow.

Now like I said, nothing is even close to being in development but hopefully something pans out from this. You can bet as soon as we hear any other news on JURASSIC PARK 4 we’ll be quick to pass the good word along to all of you!
