You guys and gals think TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON will be as big a hit as REVENGE OF THE FALLEN?

I do, which is why, in our office pool, I placed it as the top summer earner of 2011. I know many think the final HARRY POTTER chapter will take the cake, but not me. It’s DARK OF THE MOON all damn day!

So, if for no other reason than to greedily help myself in a meaningless contest, I thought I’d give y’all a look at the new one-sheet for the Michael Bay extravaganza. Scroll below to scope that shite out!

With Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (below), Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Malkovich, John Turturro, Patrick Dempsey and Frances McDormand all participating – The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswip, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s ‘Transformers Revenge of the Fallen’. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime ‘Transformers’ character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

DARK OF THE MOON opens wide June 29th.
