Today I stumbled on an article over at The LA Times about a thriller heading our way that is oozing with potential. So I decided I just had to share the info on the flick with all of you and get your take on it.

The thriller in question is a little something called PITCHFORK, which is coming our way from Mark and Jay Duplass. Now The Duplass Brothers are no strangers to our genre, having tackled the indie genre flick BAGHEAD not too long ago. So now they plan on tackling PITCHFORK. What’s this little diddy about you may be asking. Well let me tell you:

Titled “Pitchfork,” it’s a dramatic thriller about the middle-aged mother of an indie rocker who, after her son is killed in a car accident, seeks vengeance on an online blogger who had peddled snark about her son (on the music site Pitchfork, hence one of the title’s entendres). Things take a turn, though, when she finds out the snarker is just a teenager.

That’s not even the kicker though. The thing that caught this schmuck’s attention was who their looking at to star in the flick. According to The LA Times none other than Jonah Hill (above) has already been talking to the Duplass Brothers about the role of the online blogger with Susan Sarandon being eyed for the roll of the mother. Susan Sarandon (below) stalking Jonah Hill? Only in Hollywood folks.

Now mind you none of this is set in stone just yet, far from it actually. But as always once more news rolls around pertaining to PITCHFORK we’ll be sure to pass the good word along to all of you.
