UPDATE: The English dubbed Kidnapped trailer that was released a couple of days ago was a mistake by Apple (they uploaded the wrong trailer). We’ve updated this story with the proper trailer. It’s in Spanish with English subtitles. The film itself will also be presented in that manner in cinemas.

It’s not often that The Arrow awards a film he sees with four stars. In fact, I’ve only seen it happen a few times in the last two years. So when it happens, you best take notice…as IFC just has with Miguel Angel Vivas’ Spanish thriller KIDNAPPED!

That’s right y’all, we’ve got the new trailer for Spanish trap-and-torture ditty, and it features a glowing quote from our very own John “The Arrow” Fallon. He calls it “a new genre classic” (READ HIS REVIEW OF THE FILM HERE).

Set for a limited theatrical release starting June 15th, KIDNAPPED (SECUESTRADOS) gets going when:

Jaime, Marta and their daughter Isa have just moved into a luxurious new house. Marta begins to prepare the dinner and puts a bottle of champagne on ice to celebrate the move. As night falls, three hooded men violently force their way into the house. Panic ensues and soon the real violence will begin.

Fernando Cayo, Guillermo Barrientos, Dritan Biba, Martijn Kuiper, Ana Wagener and Manuela Velles all star in the film.

Enjoy the new trailer!
