Earlier this month I told you all about a horror/comedy hitting Cannes this year called EDDIE THE SLEEPWALKING CANNIBAL, remember that shite? Now we don’t have much news on how EDDIE did at Cannes but we do have some new behind the scenes shots from the flick to share with you guys!
And these aren’t just any behind the scenes shots. Oh no! These shots are soaked in blood! Blood in spray-bottles, blood -covered lips, all kinds of bloody fun! Don’t take my word for it though. Just scroll away and check the shots out for yourself.
The film follows Lars Olafssen, a once young celebrity in the prestigious art world, who is now slipping away into the land of has-beens. His long-time art dealer, Ronny, is now an ungracefully aging hipster who desperately wants his meal ticket back.
But Lars refuses to paint.
His creativity comes at too high a cost – his inspiration is carnage – blood, guts and limbs. Not surprisingly, this lead to a dreadful breakdown in the past. Nevertheless, an eager Ronny arranges a teaching job for Lars with his old friend Harry at an art school in Koda Lake, a small Canadian town in the middle of nowhere. It’s a “therapeutic” measure for Lars – a means to conquer his need to paint in the “safety” of a country retreat… and perhaps lead to romance with his fellow teacher, Leslie. That is, until Eddie comes into his life.
Boris Rodriguez is directing this little romp with a cast that includes Thure Lindhardt, Stephen McHattie, Georgia Reilly (below), Al Goulem, Paul Braunstein and Dylan Scott Smith.
