Two clips for Transformers 3 offer bland humans, no robots

I suppose it’s only natural that Paramount would want to save the big guns for later, but really: these are the best TRANSFORMERS clips they can offer? Patrick Dempsey? Are they really reaching for that Patrick Dempsey-crazy fanbase that’s been lacking thus far?

In any event, the studio has released the first two clips from TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON, and you can peep them below. The first gives us, yes, Patrick Dempsey, as well as Shia Labeouf and hottie Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Dempsey is playing some sort of schmuck who obviously has eyes for Huntington-Whiteley, much to Shia’s chagrin.

The second clip shows off Josh Duhamel in the midst of one of those Michael Bay Movie Speeches. Really emotional stuff. Still, no robots anywhere to be found…

Never fear, though. There will be plenty of blurry, mechanized mayhe, come JULY 1st, when the film opens.
