A little over a week ago Eric hit you all with the news that talented genre director James Wan and the lovely Nicole Kidman were teaming up for the horror flick SPECTRE.
When that story broke we didn’t have much info regarding SPECTRE and unfortunately we still don’t have much, but what we do have is the news that SPECTRE is apparently tearing it up at Cannes! According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog IM Global, which is selling the project at the Marche du Film, has closed major territory deals that include Icon Film Distribution in Australia, Koch Media in Germany, Gussi Films in Latin America, Top Film in Russia, Aurum Films in Spain and Momentum Pictures in the U.K.. Damn! And we don’t even know what this shite is about! For shame!
All we really know is that SPECTRE is a supernatural thriller that will star Nicole Kidman. At this point can James Wan do any wrong? The dude has been pretty damn solid in the genre thus far – hell upon a second viewing even DEAD SILENCE was pretty solid.
With that being said you can bet we’ll be keeping a close eye on SPECTRE so be sure to check back soon for more on the mysterious thriller.
