Milla Jovovich teases Resident Evil: Retribution via several tweets

I know you guys want to know the latest on the next RESIDENT EVIL flick right? Of course you do! RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE, for the most part, garnered some pretty positive feedback, so it’s only logical that we be excited for the next film in the franchise, right? Right. And to help you get excited RESIDENT EVIL star Milla Jovovich has been kind enough to lay us out with several EVIL updates via her Twitter account.

Now Mrs. Jovovich (below) doesn’t drop any huge tidbits but she does tease several things including a title and some of what we might expect from the fifth RESIDENT EVIL flick. Don’t take my word for it though, scope out what Jovovich ‘tweeted:’

“I think its called RE: Retribution, but i have to ask paul 2 b sure”

“I pray 4 japan everyday and i can’t wait 2 go there and shoot the nxt RE!”

“Just 2 let the RE fans know, because there’s been a bunch of questions about the next film, Paul has kids that are professional players. All they do is play the games till they master every level and unlock every code. They play the games for WEEKS and give Paul the footage, so he’s literally watching days of the most awesome RE players out there to get inspiration 4 the next installment of the franchise.”

“OMG! Paul has such a grt idea 4 the nxt RE film and there will b a HUGE surprise abt the origin of Alice!”

“paul is still writing the script, but he’s got the story down. Its gonna b CRAZY! N fans r gonna luv who we bring back! As well as new characters n the zombies r goin 2 the nxt level!!!!”

“yea, paul doesn’t hve time 4 a twitter acct. He’s in post prod. 4 3M and in pre prod. 4 RE simultaneously!”

‘Paul’ is, of course, Jovovich’s honey and RESIDENT EVIL director Paul W.S. Anderson. So there you have it! A nice juicy update for you all regarding RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION. Now sure we can’t really put much stock in ‘tweets’ from Milla but it’s nice to see things moving forward. This shit has even been tapped with a release date already: September 14, 2012. As always as soon as we hear more regarding RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION we’ll be sure to pass that shite along to all of you!
