A few new Straw Dogs images raise the tension

A few weeks ago we brought along two grainy images from Screen Gems’ fall release STRAW DOGS, Rod Lurie’s remake of the violent Sam Peckinpah classic. Now a few more stills have been revealed, which you can see here. Nothing amazing as of yet, and as this movie is a remake of seemingly no real purpose, it had better start blowing us away soon.

The plot:
David and Amy Sumner, a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her father’s death. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy’s ex-boyfriend Charlie, leading to a violent confrontation.
