At the end of last month we brought you the news that there was a film adaptation in the works of Alan Robert’s graphic (and we mean graphic) novel series WIRE HANGERS, which focuses on a strange conspiracy involving secret agents, disfigured homeless people and mysterious abductions – among other bizarre things.

Now we have some new teaser art for you; said art for the film reveals Wire Hangers’ main character, Cypra, in full costume designed by Robert Hall of Almost Human FX (THE CRAZIES, LAID TO REST). Check the teases out below.

Robert’s comic series was published by IDW Publishing (30 Days of Night, Locke and Key, Zombies Vs. Robots). The film is currently on the look-out for writers and a director, so hopefully news of both is forthcoming.

In WIRE HANGERS, a series of abductions plagues New York City and no one is safe. When Anna Davis, a feisty young reporter, goes undercover to try and snag the big exclusive, she stumbles upon clues that give us a glimpse into what could be the most disturbing government conspiracy of our time. Pill-popping detectives, corrupt secret agents and a mysterious, disfigured homeless man are all inter-connected in this horrific tale of revenge and redemption.
