It’s no secret that we here at Arrow in the Head are big Eric Red fans, so it should come as no surprise that we’re excited about the following news: Red’s under-appreciated horror flick BODY PARTS, starring Jeff Fahey, Kim Delaney and Brad Dourif, is getting a special screening in L.A. on APRIL 15th, courtesy of The Cinefamily. Even cooler, Red will be there for a Q+A afterward, and since the man is chock full of interesting stories and just an all-around cool guy, you’d best believe that this is an event worth attending – regardless if you’ve seen BODY PARTS or not. (If you haven’t, what better opportunity?)

If you’re unaware of the plot, soak it up right now: After a crime psychologist (Fahey) loses his arm and nearly his life in a grisly car accident, he undergoes a daring medical operation to have a donor arm grafted onto his body. But after the operation, the arm starts to take on a violent life of its own, striking out against Bill’s wife and children. Consumed by fears about his dangerous behavior, Bill is driven to learn about the donor’s identity – a horrifying discovery that delivers him into a world of unimaginable terror.

For more info on the screening and tickets, head on over HERE. The Cinefamily is located on N Fairfax Avenue in L.A.; as I’m a New Yorker, I dunno where the hell that is, but maybe you Los Angelenos know what’s what.
