Tim Burton continues to add names to his DARK SHADOWS cast; he’s now brought aboard young Gulliver McGrath (THE LOVED ONES) to play the role of “David Collins”, a young vampire and member of the Collins clan at the center of the tale.

McGrath joins a cast that already includes Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Jackie Earle Haley, Thomas McDonnell and Bella Heathcote. The film is currently underway in London, England, from a script written by Seth Grahame-Smith.

Another actor who might soon join up is Michael Sheen, as we told you last week. Though he’s still not officially on board yet, Deadline confirms that Burton “has his sights” on the British thesp to play “Roger Collins”, father to the David character. (Being ignorant of the lineage of this fictional family, I’m not quite sure how either relates to “Barnabas Collins”, the character Depp is playing.)

DARK SHADOWS still doesn’t have a release date, but we’ll most likely be seeing it late next year.
