A couple of weeks ago I told you about the first batch of genre films hitting Blu-ray via Miramax’s recent distribution deal with Echo Bridge Entertainment. In case you forgot, HALLOWEEN: H20, FROM DUSK TILL DAWN and THE CROW: CITY OF ANGELS will hit Blu-ray on May 3.
Well, May is going to be a busy (and expensive) month for horror fans who love their sequels, as they will continue to release titles throughout the month. On May 10, HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS (preorder), HELLRAISER: BLOODLINE (preorder), DRACULA 2000 (preorder) and CHILDREN OF THE CORN III: URBAN HARVEST (preorder) will hit Blu-ray.
One May 15, they will release some Blu-ray double features, including FROM DUSK TILL DAWN / FROM DUSK TILL DAWN 2 (preorder), HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS / HALLOWEEN: H20 (preorder), HELLRAISER BLOODLINE / HELLRAISER: INFERNO (preorder), and CHILDREN OF THE CORN V / CHILDREN OF THE CORN 666 (preorder).
Expect each of the Blu-rays to be either bare bones or to carry over the same extras they had on DVD. Will you be picking up any of the titles?
