George A. Romero is a living legend of the genre who needs no introduction. His son, Cameron Romero, is following in his father’s footsteps as an independent horror filmmaker. A teaser trailer for his latest effort, RADICAL, can be viewed below, thanks to our friends at Dread Central.

Romero, who wrote and directed the feature, has this to say: “This is the real horror that people go through every day around the world, and the media always seem to cover it from a higher place or a conceptual level. I think it’s because it seems unbearable to think about individuals who go through horrible experiences and what it must be like during that time for them. That’s where RADICAL came from.”

The film is produced by Tactical Aggression and stars Tom Sizemore (SAVING PRIVATE RYAN), Ford Austin, Josh Carmichael, Shahe Assilian, BJ Hendricks, Jericha Griffin, Patrick Jordan, Marc Wasserman and Shahe Assilian. Here is the plot:

RADICAL tells the tale of three American journalists who are captured and held captive by an attention-starved lunatic who’s looking for fame for the many atrocities he’s committed while in the Middle East.
