So the other day I told you guys how Joseph Gordon-Levitt was officially cast in Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT RISES and how Juno Temple was circling a role, right? Right. Now today we’ve got a small update on both!
According to Variety Juno Temple (right) has officially signed on to star in the film, though Warner Bros. have decided not to announce what role she’ll be playing. If earlier reports are correct she’ll be a ‘street smart Gotham girl,’ whatever that means.
As far as Joseph Gordon-Levitt is concerned apparently it’s been confirmed that he’ll be joining the film as ‘Alberto Falcone,’ the son of ‘Carmine Falcone,’ who was played by Tom Wilkinson in BATMAN BEGINS. That works I suppose.
So what do you guys think? You digging all this DARK KNIGHT RISES jive? Of course you are! How can you not? At this point Christopher Nolan can do no wrong! THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is set to start filming this Summer with Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Juno Temple and Anne Hathaway (below) all starring.
