And now something for the ladies…

It’s my understanding that the chicks dig Mr. Jason Momoa, and that’s what you’re getting right here, with these new pics as Momoa as Conan the Barbarian. Said pics – scans, actually – come from the new Empire Magazine, and in addition to Momoa looking pretty intimidating as Conan they give us a look at Stephen Lang as the flick’s villain, Khalar Zym (below, with another creepy-looking fellow). Now all we need are a few peeks at Rose McGowan and Rachel Nichols in their outfits and we’ll be set…

To avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his Cimmerian village, Conan (Jason Momoa) goes on a quest to find and kill the sadistic warlord responsible. However, this warlord, Khalar Zym (Stephen Lang), is on his own quest to find an elusive young woman, Tamara (Rachel Nichols), the key to an enigmatic ritual of resurrection. When Conan abducts Tamara and uses her as bait, he is pursued by armies, besieged by monsters and led to a site of primeval magic and human sacrifice.

From director Marcus Nispel, CONAN THE BARBARIAN 3D hits theaters on AUGUST 19th.
