It was only a few days ago our SyFy assessing pimp E-to-the-Dub gave us a look at a pair of clips from 51, Jason Connery’s After Dark Original. The film is set to air on the SyFy channel tomorrow night (Feb. 26th), so expect to see what Eric has to say about the film sometime next week. In the meantime, cop a dose of the official trailer for the movie underneath!

Penned by Lucy Muckerjee, from a story by Kenny Yakkel, 51 goes a little something like this:

Due to political pressure from the American public, the Air Force has decided to allow two well-known reporters limited access to the most secretive base on the planet. But when one of the base’s “long-term visitors” exploits this unprecedented visit as a chance to liberate himself and his fellow alien captives, Area 51 turns from a secure government base to a horrifying destination of terror.

Area 51 is always an intriguing subject, and this bastard looks to be the diametric opposite of Greg Mottola’s wild-and-wacky alien-road-spoof PAUL. Wonder which’ll prove more entertaining…

Rachel Miner, Jason London, Vanessa Branch (below), Bruce Boxleitner, John Shea, Beau Brasso, Jillian Batherson, J.D. Evermore, Billy Slaughter, Tammi Arender and Nedal Yousef all take part in 51.
