After a long break from film to serve as the governor of California, action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger is gearing up to return to acting full time. We recently informed you that he was eying the WWII action flick WITH WINGS AS EAGLES, and now the former Governator took to Twitter to formally announce his return to the industry:
“Exciting news. My friends at CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today.”
Ahh, how nice it is for his famous, oft-quoted THE TERMINATOR catch phrase – “I’ll be back!” – to finally ring true again. Schwarzenegger recently made a cameo in THE EXPENDABLES for his old pal Sylvester Stallone, but I’m ready to see him kicking ass in a lead role again.
