With the first season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” hitting DVD and Blu-ray on March 8th (more on that here), fans are clamoring for more of the hit show. We were originally told that we wouldn’t see another season until the Fall, but “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston revealed in an interview that AMC may bring the show back as early as July:
“It was a decision from AMC that they wanted to position us in July, along with Mad Men. And I believe they’re going to put Walking Dead in July as well. I think it’s just a sensible thing — they want to attract as many eyeballs as possible, away from the heavy competition of the September, November, January start.”
The show, created by Frank Darabont, is based on the Image Comics title from Robert Kirkman, which follows the survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Pre-order “The Walking Dead” Season 1 on DVD HERE or Blu-ray HERE.
