Dark Knight Rises: Hugo Strange, Black Mask, Talia al Ghul & Killer Croc?

Chris Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is a flick we’ve been keeping you intermittently abreast of, doing our best to avoid rampant fan-boy speculation (which, let’s face it…there’s a lot of). Well, I can’t tell if we’re avoiding rumor or indulging in it today, but some excitingly appropriate villains from the film have been revealed in a potentially leaked screenplay.

Nothing’s been substantiated, but seeing how fast the “leaked script” was yanked offline, there could be some truth to the reports. So let’s get into it…

Form Comic Book Movie, who got their hands on the script:

The female lead is Talia al Ghul. And Sarah Essen, and Bullock is in the film. Dr. Hugo Strange (pictured above) is the main villain, Black Mask replaces Salvatore Ramoni, and Black Mask recruits Killer Croc as the muscles to take down the bat, Killer Croc is known to be a psychopathic killer with a skin diseased reptile function skinned, who’s an expert in hand to hand combat and extremely agile. Oh and that’s not a lot of villains because everything ties in perfectly. Let me give you guys a slight summary of how the villains all fit together:

• Black Mask takes over Gotham’s criminal underworld replacing Salvatore Ramoni

• Dr. Hugo Strange is the main villain of the movie

• Talia al Ghul wants revenge on Bruce Wayne

• Killer Croc is just the meathead to takedown the batman

I think Tom Hardy is playing Black Mask. Black Mask is around Bruce’s age range, Hardy is in his early thirties.

Wow, a lot to take in, huh?!? Not sure about you, but I’m all about Killer Croc in this instance, a psychopathic killer with a reptilian skin disease. Imagine, given the right actor, what Nolan could pull off with a dude like that running around.

But what do you got on this one…think there’s any truth, or is this more lofty B.S. meant to keep the real DARK KNIGHT RISES shrouded?

My vote for Talia al Ghul goes to INCEPTION star Marion Cotillard!
