We’ve been keeping tabs on the upcoming teen horror web series THROWING STONES and are happy to have received word on its release. The series has landed a web TV distribution deal with KoldCast TV and The Mingle Media Television Network.
The networks will launch the series on January 5, 2011. A new webisode will debut each week for 8 weeks. Here’s the premise:
A group of high school students are forced to come together and overcome their differences in order to survive Saturday School when one by one the students end up missing.
Mingle Media will also host a live web show each week that will feature cast and crew participating in Q&As, giveaways, and more. It will also be syndicated through the major video websites.
The series is written and directed by Bart D. Van Bemmel and Jason A. Wheeler and based on a feature screenplay that the pair wrote. It stars Cherami Leigh, Rebekah Kennedy, Lindsay Seidel, Chad Cox, and Kayla Carlyle.
