So considering it’s a pretty slow news day here at AITH I’ve decided to hit you all with a nifty little update from Mondo Tees and Alamo Draft House. Actually today’s update is pretty badass, as the title of this article suggests.
You see Alamo Draft House and Mondo Tees have decided to team up for their first “Director’s Series.” So who’s the lucky filmmaker starting off this new series? Guillero del Toro of course! So what exactly is this “Director’s Series?” Check it:
Mondo has worked with the celebrated filmmaker to craft unique artistic interpretations of the Hellboy films, Blade 2, The Devil’s Backbone, Cronos & Pan’s Labryrinth from world famous artists.
Del toro adds: “….it is a rare privilege to be included in this mind-blowing poster series. These images enshrine and preserve the energy of the films they depict in a way that no square marketing could!!! More power to them!!!”
First up we’ve got a couple prints for BLADE 2 and one for HELLBOY 2, so you’ll want to scroll away to enjoy those. Is it just me or are these artistic posters usually better than the official one-sheets? Yeah I figured it wasn’t just me… So are you digging on these posters? Of course you are!
