It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Susanna Lo’s MANSON GIRLS. Actually the last update on the film came back in September. Here we sit on December 1st and we’re finally getting another update on the project!
So what does today’s news hold for MANSON GIRLS? More girls of course! That’s right folks, according to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting a mess of new beauties have signed on to do battle for Mr. Charles Manson. So who’re the new lovely ladies joining Manson’s army? Laura Harring (right), Patti D’Arbanville, Estella Warren, Monica Keena, and Stella Maeve, that’s who! The group join the previously announced Thora Birch, Heather Matarazzo, and Michael Monks.
While most of the names I just mentioned are relative unknowns, Ms. Monica Keena (below) is no stranger to our genre. Plus she’s gorgeous. So you can go ahead and sign this schmuck up for the ride!
Manson Girls follows a young girl from a wealthy Malibu family who fell under Manson’s spell. She was not one the “Family” members involved in the clan’s infamous murder spree, but Pitman was later imprisoned after she became involved with the Aryan Brotherhood and was convicted of being an accessory (after the fact) to murder.
So there you have it ladies and gents! A nice little update on Susanna Lo’s MANSON GIRLS. I’m sure we’ll be hearing more on the film soon considering it’s got a pretty jam-packed cast now so be sure to keep it here for that as it comes our way!
