One movie I didn’t find all that appealing was Greg Mclean’s Australian genre flick WOLF CREEK. I’m not sure what it was but this flick just didn’t jive for me, ya know? Granted a re-watch may be in order at this point but my first go was a big disappointment. So it’s with that bitter mindset that I come to you today with news regarding the flick’s sequel, cleverly titled WOLF CREEK 2.
Alright, so it isn’t that clever… or is it? Either way we’re going to run with it! So what do I have to tell you about WOLF CREEK 2 today? Well it seems the project has been mentioned at this year’s American Film Market, scoring itself a synopsis and some confirmed casting news! Greg Mclean is set to come back to direct this bad boy with John Jarratt in line to reprise his role as the psychotic ‘Mick Taylor!’ That’s all fine and dandy but what’s this bad larry going to be about? Looks like this one is going to follow right along in the original’s footsteps, although it seems we may have more of a character study on our hands with WOLF CREEK 2. What says you guys?
