We’ve been telling you about John Landis’ horror/comedy BURKE & HARE for a while now, with the question of whether this flick really falls under the ‘horror’ category popping up routinely. When it boils down to it BURKE & HARE is a John Landis flick about Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis going around knocking people off in order to sell their bodies.. So yeah it definitely qualifies here at AITH! With that being said, let’s get to today’s update!

It appears we’ve been treated to the first clip from the film, which has Simon Pegg’s ‘William Burke’ and Andy Serkis’ ‘William Hare’ selling their first body to Tom Wilkinson’s ‘Dr. Knox.’ Does that sound like something you might be interested in checking out? Of course it does! Just scroll directly below to scope out the goods or head on over to our videos section.

BURKE AND HARE is a black comedy based on the true story about the famous murderers, ‘Burke And Hare’ follows the hapless exploits of these two men as they fall into the highly profitable business of providing cadavers for the medical fraternity in Nineteenth Century Edinburgh, then the centre of medical learning. The one thing they were short of was bodies.

Along with Pegg, Serkis and Wilkinson the film also stars Isla Fisher, Tim Curry and Christopher Lee. This little diddy is set to hit theaters this Friday, on October 29th over in the UK. Unfortuantely no US release date has been announced yet but that should be coming our way soon. As always as soon as we hear more regarding BURKE & HARE we’ll be sure to pass the good word along to all of you!
