Earlier this month we gave you all a minor update on ZOMBIELAND 2 that had Jesse Eisenberg and director Ruben Fleischer talking about the highly anticipated project. Well it seems things are still at the ‘all-talk’ level because Eisenberg is once again talking about the sequel with what seems like less enthusiasm. You be the judge!

MTV recently chatted with Eisenberg about his upcoming flick THE SOCIAL NETWORK, which is looking kick-ass all on it’s own, and the subject quickly turned to the undead. So what did the young actor have to say? Check it:

He says the cast and crew have a “great affection” for the film and “if they were to put together a good sequel, we would all probably be really excited to do it.”

Then in regards to where the sequel might take his character ‘Columbus’ on this go-around:

“I killed clown zombies in the first one. I can’t imagine what other things I could do that would kind of overshadow that.”

So there you have it. Nothing worth writing home about but it’s nice to see things are still moving along with ZOMBIELAND 2. To check out the entire snippet of the interview you’ll want to check out the video directly below. As always as soon as we hear more on ZOMBIELAND 2 we’ll be sure to let you all know!
