Earlier today I had a chance to speak with I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE actress Sarah Butler, who gives a pretty riveting performance in the flick and she broke off some surprising news regarding the possibility of a sequel…

Here’s what Butler had to say in response to my wondering (half-jokingly) if an I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE 2 is even feasible: “That would be really fun, and there is a possibility for that. Hopefully the movie will do well enough to incline Anchor Bay to pull the trigger on that. Explore what life is like post this traumatic experience. Explore a lot of questions about, can a person be healed after something like this, or do they want to? Or do they remain forever… a little off. A lot of fun things to be explored.”

When asked if director Steven Monroe is actively developing I SPIT 2, Butler responded, “I don’t think it’s officially being developed at this point, but I’m sure he’d be involved if that started taking place. I think we just need to wait and see how many people go see it and if it’s a likelihood.”
