We’re all eagerly anticipating AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” right? Of course we are. We’ve had high expectations for this thing from the get-go and it’s done nothing but surpass that thus far. Of course it could end up nosediving but that’s highly doubtful… With that being said I’m here today to give you all a nice little “Walking Dead” update to tide us over until it’s October 31st premiere date.
So what do I have for you all today? Two new TV spots for the series as well as a new still! Nice! The two TV spots come courtesy of AMC and can be found by scrolling directly below. Next up we’ve got a brand new still from the flick. Said still comes from Entertainment Weekly and the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting were kind enough to toss a scan up of that shite. I’ve tossed a bit of the still up above but you’ll want to click through to check out the whole shot. Pretty…. colorful, huh? I don’t know … I dig my zombies grey and decaying with all kinds of gory redness…. A zombie looking like a rainbow? Not too sure about that one…
“The Walking Dead” revolves around an epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe, causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months, society has crumbled: There is no government, no grocery stores, no mail delivery, no cable TV. Rick Grimes finds himself one of the few survivors in this terrifying future. A couple months ago he was a small town cop who had never fired a shot and only ever saw one dead body. Separated from his family, he must now sort through all the death and confusion to try and find his wife and son. In a world ruled by the dead, we are forced to finally begin living.
“The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Michael Rooker, Jeffrey DeMunn, Laurie Holden (below), Steven Yeun and Sarah Wayne Callies. AMC will air the first of six episodes on October 31st so be ready for that!
