I know you guys remember me telling you about Troma Entertainment’s FATHER’S DAY recently, right? Of course you do! I mean this flick is looking like all kinds of f*cked up. The f*cked up that you really can’t help but take notice of. Truth be told I know FATHER’S DAY is going to be insanely f*cked up but I can’t decide if it’s in a good way or a bad way. What do you guys think?
While you decide which route you’ll be going with FATHER’S DAY allow me to inform you all that this little diddy has offically started filming in Winnipeg, Canada, or so says today’s press release. The guys of Astron-6 are the ones putting this little shingdig together. So who are the folks behind Astron-6? Check it: Matthew Kennedy, Conor Sweeney, Jeremy Gillespie, Steven Kostanski and Adam Brooks. All five filmmakers hail from Canada and fall right in with Troma and their unique taste.
Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman (below), who’s producing along with Michael Herz, had the following to say: “All I can say, is that you better keep your father safe!”
After seeing what the psychotic ‘Chris Fuchman’ does to fathers in the film (he viciously rapes them…), you can understand why Kaufman warns to keep dear old Dad safe! Now Troma and Astron-6 also released a still from the film today to go along with this announcement… But I’m going to be honest with you: You don’t want to see this still. I promise you that. Actually I’m not even going to throw it up. If you really need to see this thing you can click through over HERE, but I warn you… It’s NSFW and involves a bloody male ass… Seriously.
