Elvira’s Movie Macabre returns to the small screen in a big way

Remember the 80s? If you can get past all the poppy music, the big hair, the neon clothes, and the blow, you may recall a little show on late night television called ELVIRA’S MOVIE MACABRE, featuring the one and only Elvira Mistress of the Dark as she hosts a screening of a really bad horror film. It was classic television at its finest and you can relive some of its magic on a few recently released DVD double features.

If you don’t remember the 80s (either you weren’t there or… all of the blow), you’re in luck, as it looks like Elvira’s Movie Macabre is headed back to TV this September through the THIS! Television network (and in syndication on a number of other cable providers)! Very nice!

The news of having Elvira come back and host a really bad movie or two brings so much joy to my heart that it’s not even funny. Bad movies plus one smokin’ hot (and funny!) host equals one helluva good time. Now only if it becomes syndicated in my area…

The show will be produced by Trifecta Entertainment & Media, and “will air on television stations representing more than 80% of U.S. households.” I sure hope so. Elvira’s Movie Macabre is set to premiere September 25, 2010… check your local listings.
