It’s the day after Comic Con so naturally there’s still some coolness left in the world to keep the planet spinning on its axis. For example, the folks at Hammer / Overture Films were able to release a brand new poster and a new image from their upcoming joint-venture LET ME IN!

Straight off the film’s Facebook page, the new poster features a snow angel sprinkled with a few droplets of blood–it’s simple, it’s intriguing, and overall… it’s pretty awesome. I’m really digging the simplicity of the whole thing.

Then there’s the pic, which features a bloodied foot and our boy Kodi Smit-McPhee all beat up. Or crying. Or something… whatever it is, it ain’t pretty.

Not a bad way to start a Monday, eh? Be sure to check out the film’s Facebook page for even larger versions of these, and get ready for LET ME IN in theaters everywhere October 1, 2010.
