To be completely honest Scott Stewart’s PRIEST hasn’t really been demanding my attention. Don’t get me wrong, the flick seems like it’s got the potential to be pretty cool and I’m definitely a fan of the premise… but I just hadn’t been hooked yet. Well folks, that changes today.

You see the folks over at /Film recently got their hands on a few new stills from the film and I’ve pretty much been completely sold. Actually all it took was that shot above. I don’t know what the deal is, but I’m digging it. I’ve also tossed another badass shot up below but you’ll want to click through on either shot to check out the rest over at /Film.

PRIEST revolves around a priest disobeys church law to track down the vampires who kidnapped his niece.

Paul Bettany stars as the titular ‘Priest’ along with Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q (below), Karl Urban, Lily Collins, Stephen Moyer, Madchen Amick, Brad Dourif and Christopher Plumm. Now I’m actually in love with Lily Collins, and Brad Dourif but that’s for a whole other reason man. Seriously though, that’s some cast, no?

PRIEST is looking better and better the more I think about it. What says you guys? How’re you feeling about PRIEST? Hit us with your thoughts below and keep it here for more on the film as we await it’s May 13, 2011 release date.
