The British-born thriller EXAM, about a group of job applicants who have to fight for a job – perhaps even to the death – came out earlier this year overseas. In February, IFC snatched it up. Now it’s finally ready to premiere, on IFC OnDemand, which is a savior to those who aren’t fortunate enough to have arthouse theaters where they live. (Hopefully everyone has IFC OnDemand available to them, because it really is awesome.)

Shown into a windowless examination room, eight candidates have reached the final stage of selection for a prestigious job at a mysterious corporation. There is one question before them and one answer is required. If they try to speak to him or the armed guard by the door they will be disqualified. If they leave the room for any reason they will be disqualified.
If they spoil their papers they will be disqualified.

As the clock ticks down, they must figure out what the company expects of them, and how far they are prepared to go to secure the ultimate job.

Gemma Chan, Jimi Mistry, Colin Salmon, Luke Mably, Pollyanna McIntosh and Nathalie Cox are among the cast. IFC will air EXAM exclusively on demand, beginning JULY 23rd. You can also hit up a five minute clip right HERE.
