Yesterday our man in action Jake Dee offered a nutload of new lobby cards and a few posters from this September’s speemfest MACHETE (HERE), and see what a difference a day makes? We now have yet another poster to drool over from the film!

The latest poster features the lovely Jessica Alba as Sartana, a cop with a sweet hip-badge, a handgun, and a wife beater. She looks pretty badass here, but I can’t say that she’s looking entirely smoin’ hot. Not that it’s the poster, it’s pretty much everything I’ve seen of her in this flick so far. Maybe it’s the hair, maybe it’s the outfit, I don’t know… I’m just not feeling the Alba this time around.

But no bother, the new poster is still pretty cool, and you can check it out below (or HERE in even higher resolution).

In case you forgot: The highly skilled Federale MACHETE is hired by some unsavory types to assassinate a senator. But just as he’s about to take the shot, he notices someone aiming at him and realizes he’s been set up. He barely survives the sniper’s bullet, and is soon out for revenge on his former employers, with the reluctant assistance of his old friend Cheech Marin, who has become a priest and taken a vow of nonviolence. If you hire him to take out the bad guys, make sure the bad guys aren’t you!

Enjoy the new poster and get ready for MACHETE in theaters everywhere September 3, 2010!
